50 years of learning and improving...Happy 50th Birthday Malaysia

I just took this picture using my parent's camera. This picture of the moon is taken using BenQ Digital Camera C640. I'm not really good at using a camera. I never really learn to use it. Perhaps it's not a bad idea to start learning as its kind of fun. Life is too short as there are so much more to learn. The more we learn, the more we realize that a lot of things we don't know. Guess what we can do is just keep on learning as much as possible. 31st August 2007 is Malaysia 50 years Independence Day celebration. Malaysia gain independence in 1957 and since then it's already 50 years. The government is planning a big celebration this year. I think the main event will be in Kuala Lumpur, but I'm sure my home town will be celebrating as well. I'll try to take some pictures on that day and post it up after the event. So be sure to check it out.

Instead of just saying or writing it out with beautiful explanation, watching it directly make things more clear and understandable. A video is worth a thousand words. Especially when it involves parties of different culture and religion. I think this just open up another market and business opportunities. This includes international business too. It might be new but it sure has a huge business potential. Even though it is still focus on Penang state but still people around the world have the chance to watch it. The world has a chance to watch closely the culture and lifestyle of Malaysia people. It started out from Penang and I hope that each state will end up having their video advertising too.

Food that goes well with coffee

When you are having your favorite coffee, what type of food do you choose to go along with it? Let’s see what type of food that people have when they are enjoying their coffee…

So which do you prefer most? For me, definitely is Youtiao (油条). It’s a deep fried golden brown strip of dough in Chinese cuisine. Normally have it in the morning. Here’s how we eat them. Dip it in the coffee, stir a little bit to let the coffee went right into it. Then put it in your mouth with lots of coffee in it. The mixture of Youtiao (油条) and coffee taste really good. Almost forgot, it has to go with black coffee. If you have a chance to go china or china town around your place, look for it and try it out.

Back up your blog before you loss it...

OK, I know this makes me sound like your parents but still I just got to say this, “Back up your blog or site…” A lot of people did not realize that accidents do happen. No matter how good or secure the hosting provider is, there’s still the possibility of server crash issue. All it took is just one bad day where everything just went wrong. I’m sure most of you had that experience before. It would be wise to back up your blog before you loss it. For those people that use the free hosting service like me, you might want to back up your blog just in case it does crashes. In most cases, what really happened is that when ever these free hosting services move their server, upgrade or make a change in their server, chances are your blog might get loss some where during the process. I still remember these words "Help me help you..." from the movie Jerry Maguire. I think most of us that blog loves to have tons of traffic. I will be very happy if I got at least thousands of visitors each day. The question is how do I do that? From what I know is that we need to make our blog rank high at the search engine so that your blog can be easily expose to others. One way to do that is to built lots of back link. Well that is easy to say then done. To make things simple and easy, why not just think how to attract more people to your blog. One way I found to very effective is to give out free stuff. I did encounter a lot of blogs that give out cash or prizes, and then I found this blog Daily Webbers. Daily Webbers is holding a Free Giveaway contest to all bloggers. The prize is a free domain name and 1 year hosting account. Very attractive indeed for those bloggers that is using the free hosting services. I was intend to find some examples so that I could make my own giving out free stuff, instead I'm participating it. Well, I think you don't have to do it yourself all the time. Participating in others contest also might in fact brings you some traffic. Saves you a lot of time and energy. Besides we need to support each other to stay in the game. The Clock Tower Of My Home Town

This clock tower was built almost 100 years ago. There was once a big flood and the water was up till half of the tower. Luckily the clock tower was able to survive the tragedy. Now it is one of the tourist interest. It is always a place of decoration when there is any function carry out. Often the clock tower will be dress up with thousand of lights. It's just like a lady dress up in a white wedding dress.
