Create you online store with Ashop commerce

When we talk about e-commerce, we think of shopping cart, webpage, software and etc. It’s not an easy task if you plan to have your own online store. Getting help from the professional is a must. For this purpose, we can have a look at Ashop Commerce. One thing I like is that the site answers almost all questions that I worried about. First is the 10 days free trial. I’m able to try it out before making my decision to use the services. Second is that the site also offered a free of charge custom online store design. That means I don’t have to worry about how bad my design is. I get the pros to do it for me. Finally Ashop commerce hosts the store on my own domain address. I can have my name on it if I want. The fact is, it’s easy to use. All I care about is that I have this product and I want to sell it online. If an e-commerce company can help me up by just let me worried about my product and taking care of everything else, then that’s the company I want.

Before and after Married

Before married, the time that both couple spends together move unexpectedly fast. Before you realize it, you’ve already standing in the church exchanging wedding rings.

After married, it feels like the time is moving very slow just like taking a trip on the bus take took hours but still hasn’t reached the destination.

Before married, feels like a drug addict. The more drugs you take, the more you needed. Never ever had enough with it.

After married, feels like taking the drugs to fight the cancer. Can’t stop taking it. Without the drugs it’s a irresistible pain until end of life. Must have in order to live on.

Before married, just playing stupid. Every action can be done before going through your head.

After married, feels like take on the last stupid act. Every action has to think it over and over and over and…before doing it.

Before married, you can be high profile.

After married, you have to be low profile.

Before married, you can have your favorite beer in the bar. The beer taste sweet.

After married, you can have your bottle of beer at home. The beer taste sour.

P/S : Why do I still have the feeling that I'll get married someday...

Short post for me

I like to write short, straight to the point post. Simple English with not so formal sentence structure is what I like best. Here is what I think of writing short post instead of long post.

1. Won’t take up much time to do it.

2. Enable for me to post each day.

3. Easy to read and won’t take up much of readers’ time.

I tried writing long post and it took me couple of hours to do that. I’m not saying that I hate to write long post but I’m just not able to do it fast and that bugs me sometimes. Life is not just about blogging only, there are tons of things need to be done. When that happened I feel a bit pressured blogging. That is why I decide to write short post. I wanted to blog comfortable without any pressure. That way I can still having fun and the motivation to keep on blogging. I’m posting everyday now and this is good practice. Eventually I’ll be able to write longer post later on. At this moment I think I’ll stick to writing short post first. I’ll take one step at a time. Learn to crawl, then walk, then run, one at a time.

This is one way to get more traffic

cartoon from www.weblogcartoons.com

Cartoon by Dave Walker. Find more cartoons you can freely re-use on your blog at We Blog Cartoons.

Well, it's obvious to me that my path is to be a blogger then get famous. I feel that this path is very much longer then the other one. If you're famous and you blog, it won't take you more then a month to become a famous blogger. The amount of traffic you'll get will be sky high in just a few days. Take for example, if Paris Hilton creates her own blog and starts to post her pictures and talk about her life and feelings. How long will she becomes a famous blogger? How much traffic her blog will get after a month? If you compare it that way, you’ll know how much different it is between the two path above.

A Special Kind of Coffee

This is one special kind of coffee that I’m not sure if I want to try it or not. With the cost of 50 Australian dollars per cup of coffee that made from the droppings of the civet cat, I’m not sure if it’s the price or the pooh that I don’t like. For a coffee lover like me, I’m very curious about how the coffee taste like. Who knows despite the two reasons above, the coffee may taste good. Sadly I’m unable to taste it unless I’m willing to pay more to get the coffee. Oh well, I’ll just need to earn more online to be able to afford that.

Write a diary or write a blog?

We have seen a lot of young bloggers that earn a decent amount of money at a very young age. Some of them are just about the age of 13 if I’m not wrong. This get me think about the things that I should let my children do in the future. When I was young my parents encouraged me to write diary. Now I was thinking of instead of writing it on papers why not we just go a head and type it on a blog. The results can be better because kids can learn more things other then just improving their writings. They get to learn to use a computer, internet, programming, software and networking. I think it’s a good practice. Having a diary on a blog sounds interesting to me but there is one thing that I’m worried about. That is how secure the blog diary can be. I know that we can set the diary blog to be a private site with passwords and user names but still can we be sure that nobody else gets into it? Well, I’m not sure about that. Perhaps instead of writing a diary blog, we could just change it to”a place to write freely but have to mind your language” just in case somebody else hack into your blog.

Will you let your kids blog or write diary?

Submit your content to earn some money

AssociatedContent allow you to submit almost anything to their site to earn some money. You can submit videos, audios, text and slideshows. AssociatedContent pays $1.50 for every thousand page views your content receives. That means more people looking at your work more money you earn. It works almost the same as Helium. Payment will be made through Paypal. Plus they have referral programs too.

This is not just a site for us to make some money, but it’s a place for us to promote our site or blog. Plus I think this is a good place for me to practice my writing with the chance to earn some money. It may seems that the payment might be a little for $1.50 per thousand views but that’s a way to prove how good our work is. It your work is good, surely you’ll get more money. Now that’s a good way to prove myself.

I set my blog to mainly write about tips and sites on money earning with few other categories like coffee. This really restricts the content that I’m able to write. Sometimes I like to write other things like movie reviews, cars or my pet dog. So what I’ll do is just write them out and put it all into sites like AssociatedContent. This way I’m still able to write what I and still gain some benefits from it.

Every work that we done will come back to us eventually, it’s just the matter of time when we will be rewarded. Don’t just write for the money. Write because you want to express yourselves because you have something to say. Then you won’t feel the pressure of maintaining one post per day.

Working on .htaccess

I never knew what .htaccess is until I get my own domain and start hosting my own site using wordpress. Even until now I’m still pretty confuse about the usage. I get in touch with .htaccess because I learn that in order my site to get better search results I need to redirect domain.com to www.domain.com. According to SEO, this will have a better page ranking as things are not divided out. In order to do this I need to edit my .htaccess file and write some programming language into it. I’m not good at this so I just copy and paste the whole line into the file. Well, guess what? It took me about an hour to get it done correctly.

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www\.domain\.com)(:80)? [NC]

RewriteRule ^(.*) http://domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

It’s just a few simple lines just like the above but I’m having a hard time making it right. There are still a lot of things can be done by editing the .htaccess file but I need to find some other way or method so that it can be used easily. I start searching for tools and I found this site.

.htaccess editor

It’s a simple editor and all you need to do is select the task and fill in the blanks. As soon as you’re done, the required code or script will be created. All you need to do is just copy and paste it to the .htaccess file. It’s as simple as ABC. I don’t have to worry about programming languages. Best of all the instruction and selection comes with few other languages like Chinese, Japanese, English and Korea. The site is trying to get people to help them to translate it into other languages. It you’re interested then perhaps you might help to translate into German, French or Italian.

If you’re having headache with .htaccess, then you should visit the site. It’s one great site that you’ll love.

Make Money Blogging with Blogitive

Blogitive is another paid money blogging site just like PayPerPost. I’ve just sign up and in the process of waiting to be approved. As usual there are some basic requirements to get approved by Blogitive. Your blog need to be index by search engines and maintain at least 3 posting per week on average, and also are at least 3 months old. It’s more a less the same as other paid to blog site. That means I can go ahead and post all the available opportunity listed in one shot, of cause if there is more then one opportunity listed. Let’s see how good this site is.

What type of blogger are you?

That is the question that I always ask myself. I started to blog late last year with no purpose or target. Basically I just needed some place to express my feelings and thoughts. After few months of surfing and blogging then I decided to include some tips on making money online. This is my first blog and I really do like the feeling of posting my words here. So back to the question of what type of blogger am I.

In my opinion, I think blogger can be categorized into 2 types. The first type is the self center type. That means the world is spinning around according to the blogger. More like a creative singer where you have the stage and people are enjoying your songs and performance. This type of blogger just listens to his/her heart and blog as he/she likes. Pretty much does not care about the response of the readers. Readers are attracted to his/her charm.

The second type of blogger works or writes according to how the world spins. More like an actor or actress where you have to do everything according to the scrip. This type of blogger listened to the readers and answered the request. Interact with the readers and giving his/her love to the readers. Readers returned because of the well treat by the bogger.

So, what type of blogger are you. I’m placed between these two types with a bit more towards the first one. Of cause I’m trying to be the second type but sometimes I just get carry away when posting. Either way, you need to be good in it to attract more traffic. Still you need to work hard to get it.

Identify the best site for you

This blog has introduced many sites that allowed us to earn some extra money. At this point you might want to know which one is the best so that you can just sign up one or two reliable sites and save you the trouble and time. Of cause it is rather troublesome to sign up for so many sites and keep up with it. In my opinion, I think it is best to sign up as much as possible.

A lot of the sites that posted here are new. Taking a chance with the new sites might not be as bad as you think. Their rules are not so tight and early birds might get some bonus as they are in the promoting stage. In order to compete with the successful site like PayPerPost or Google, new sites will provide better commission or services.

We can monitor the action and services provided by those new sites to determine if they are seriously in for business. First, the site is always under renewed or improvement at the early stage of launching. Changes are done according to the benefits of the customers. Secondly, their speed of getting things done is crucial as time is money. This includes taking the consideration of customer’s time, for example reducing the waiting time for approval. Third, answered and responded to customers’ complain. Really listen to the voice of customers and implement to the site. If you find any sites that are able to carry out the above action, then better stick to it for a while.

“Don’t put all your eggs into one basket” This is another reason that we should explore other new sites just in case. We should always look for other resources because you’ll never know if one day you’ll be shut down. Take Google Adsense for example, more and more rules are listed and the rules are always changed. If you did get banned, then there is no going back.

A good site should be taking the trouble out from the customers instead of adding it. A good site should not set too much rules for customers so that the site can run smooth and easy. A good site should consider all the possibility customers will do and resolve them. You might not be a good site in the beginning but you can be a good site at the end if you keep on improving.

Get paid to blog with Smorty

Smorty is another get paid to blog site just like PayPerPost. The rules are almost the same. All you need to do is sign up, submit your blog, wait for approval, and select subjects that interest you and post. Payments are done through Paypal weekly. One thing that I like about it is that bloggers only need to wait for 5 days to get their post review. Well, that’s what stated in the faqs. I’ve just sign up and waiting for them to approved my blog. It should be approved within 72 hours, if everything is ok. Each post start at a minimum of $6 and as soon as your blog is approved, you’ll immediately have few opportunities to choose from. The site also has an affiliate programs that you can sign up. The program is mainly referring advertisers. That means getting people to advertise on blogs. You need to sign up under ClixGalore to join the program.

ReviewBack instead of paid review

We have seen a lot of link exchange but do you know that we can even exchange reviews? Well, for those bloggers that wanted to get their blog reviewed by others without paying then you might want to consider ReviewBack. The concept is simple, just sign up, add your blogs and look for other blogs that is the same categories and do a review exchange. More like I scratch your back, you scratch my back. In this case, It’s I blog you, you blog me. It sure is another good method to promote your blog. ReviewBack is just a plain simple site for bloggers to do review exchange.

One thing that I have to point out is that with others paid review services like ReviewMe out there, bloggers that received few hundred bucks to do a review might not be in the circle. Making extra money sure is better then doing exchange. Beside their main goal is to make money.

Exchanging reviews is almost the same as exchange links. In fact I think the effect will be much better because your blog is explained and elaborated to different readers, targeting readers instead of just search engine.

ReviewBack definitely a good place to market and promote your blog, especially new blogs. Try it.

Look for AuthenticJobs for Jobs

Here’s another site for freelancer and job seekers. AuthenticJobs.com is a site for designers and developers to look for jobs and companies seeking to hire them. The full-time jobs seem to be located only in the US. There are not much freelance jobs posted but there is one thing that I notice. The companies that looking for professional are from Microsoft, The Motley Fool, Turner Sports Interactive, ESPN, Phinney Bischoff, Garmin, Sony BMG and many other companies. I can even see that New York University is posting for a full-time web producer. These are big companies looking for professional. Thus this is a good site for freelancer to brand their name. If you’re able to get a freelance job at AuthenticJobs.com, then give your 100% effort in it. You’ll get notice if your work is good.

Freelance and full time job at freshwebjobs

Freshwebjobs is a site that provides freelance job as well as full time job. I check out the site and it seems that mostly are employers looking for full time stuff. Even so, there are still some freelance jobs that you can look into it. The jobs are categorized into design, programming and others. All jobs posted are related to website development and required a certain level of knowledge. You need to be really good at it to get the job. The site is still very new as there is only less then 100 jobs available at this point. In time there should be more jobs posted. Check it out.
