I often stumble around the question of “Is it better to do fulltime Blogging then part time?” A lot of the big guy out there really is earning a good amount of money doing fulltime blogging. Now that’s a fact that we know well. So can we follow their steps by becoming a fulltime blogger? I think that’s the question that we have to think it over. One basic rule about blogging is that can we able to post consistently. That’s the output and to be able to do that we need input. This means that we need to find something to write each time. To get more input we need to expose ourselves to a lot of things. Then only we have something to write about. Once we become fulltime in blogging, most of our time will be on the internet. Plus it’s a path that we walk alone. Most of the interaction will be online using email, messenger or phone. Basically it’s a lone ranger. In order to get more inspiration, it’s better to go out and have more social activities. All these experiences will then be translated into the blog. This is considered a healthy life style of a full time blogger.

As a part time blogger, things are pretty much easier. Why? Because you still have your daily job and you don’t have to worry about lunch or dinner. At least you have a monthly income. You might not be able to earn much at the beginning as you don’t have much time to maintain your blog but there are still some benefits. One thing for sure you don’t have to worry about input. Your daily works which enable you to interact with different people sure will give you a lot of topic. Plus your work and company activities also add up some topics too. That’s certainly resource full enough to give you something to write. There is nothing easier then to blog about your own experience.

Choosing between fulltime or part time blogger also relate much to the topic of your blog. If you’re writing about programming, Google, e-book, webpage or things that related to internet and can be found by just surfing the net then it’s good to go fulltime. As this gives you more time to dig into the net. If you’re writing a personal blog, travel, photo, technology then you might want to consider staying part time. Especially if you’re writing a personal blog then you definitely need a daily job. Blogging about yourselves is just mainly blogging about your experience. If you have a busy and wonderful life then you’ll definitely have a great story to tell, and people love to read it.

My whole conception of blogging was to have your own soapbox, so to speak. Not to make $.
